As a Graphics Software Developer, you'll work at the forefront of technology, developing critical training systems like the CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer. Here, you'll craft real-time, three-dimensional graphics systems including a submarine periscope simulation, a submarine bridge simulation, and a ship weapons simulation. This cutting-edge visual simulation is used in a variety of naval training and simulation systems, utilized throughout the US Navy. All software is developed in a Linux environment, and written in C++ and OpenGL, utilizing the Unreal graphics engine and various software packages. Plus, you'll have the unique chance to travel to strategic locations like Pearl Harbor, San Diego, and Norfolk, where you'll see firsthand the effect your work has on naval readiness.
