JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State Alumni Association is seeking a Marketing Generalist to provide marketing and communication support to engage alumni, members, students, friends, parents, volunteers and other diverse audiences. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing marketing strategies that connect alumni to the University and to each other, provide valued services to members, and support the University's mission of teaching, research and service. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidates will understand various marketing channels and be able to work on cross-functional, fast-paced teams with multiple deadlines, stakeholders and complexity. Successful candidates will have experience in developing action-oriented marketing content and be skilled in using Microsoft Office/Office 365. Working knowledge of Adobe CS/CC applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), photography, video production, web-based email platforms, and project management software is a plus.
