Position Summary

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about creating the next generation of products and services.

The selected candidate will work primarily from our Huntsville office, with remote work as required or authorized. The Systems Modeler will develop, maintain, and assess models using modeling languages such as Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF); preference is SysML. The Systems Modeler will develop system models and create representations using data architectures and models to facilitate interoperability. The modeler will support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software and hardware system integration testing and perform analysis of integration results to assess system impacts.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to pioneer the development planning, monitoring, and assessment tools tailored to Operational Test environments. This role will require creativity, innovation, and expertise in applying MBSE techniques to align with larger program and corporate objectives. The candidate will conceptualize solutions, define product roadmaps, and apply cutting-edge technologies to meet emerging customer requirements.

What You'll Do



  • Develop and maintain system models to represent system architecture, interfaces, and behaviors using MBSE tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, or equivalent
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align models with system requirements, design, and performance criteria
  • Define and document high-level system architecture, interface definitions, and behaviors
  • Help drive the integration of MBSE practices across the program to ensure consistency, traceability, and alignment with stakeholder requirements
  • Generate technical documentation and reports within our modeling tool based on system models to support design reviews, requirements verification, and customer presentations
  • Stay up to date on emerging MBSE methodologies and tools to ensure best practices
  • Support system-level trade studies and analyses to evaluate design alternatives
  • Facilitate communication between systems engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders using system models
  • Travel occasionally to customer sites or for team collaboration as required


Requirements and Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with High School Diploma
  • 1-3 or more years' experience working with SysML and UAF models
  • Proficiency in MBSE tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody, or similar
  • Familiarity with systems engineering practices, including requirements analysis, system design, and integration
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in SysML modeling language
  • Ability to work independently and lead model development efforts
  • Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies is desirable
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance


Desired Qualifications:



  • 4+ years of experience with hands-on MBSE
  • INCOSE and OCSMP certifications are preferred

    • Familiarity with DoDAF, UPDM, or UAF frameworks is a plus


  • Active Secret Clearance or higher
