Position Title: PRODUCTION PLANNER Position Summary: Responsible for scheduling and prioritizing customer orders and material requirements in a production manufacturing facility. Interact daily with all internal departments. Reports To: Production Control Manager Personnel: N/A Responsibilities: Generate plans using Visual Manufacturing ERP software to support on time customer shipments and coordinate the execution of those plans. Analyze MRP information to initiate raw material purchases, communicate customer needs/schedules to manufacturing team leaders, and work with inventory control to ensure materials are delivered to the production floor in a timely manner. Communicate regularly with Engineering Teams as issues arise. Communicate regularly with Supply Chain to resolve delivery issues and provide forecasts. Plan and manage scheduling agreements, which involve customers, suppliers, and supply chain. Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure work order routings are clear and accurate. Authorities: The primary authority of the production planner is to ensure ERP schedules are accurate and priorities are communicated to the shop floor to support on-time deliveries. Duties:
