Position Overview: Join a forward-thinking team as an experienced line of business (LoB) Director ready to run emergency/storm restoration project response within our Utility Services division, as well as provide effective leadership for all aspects of the operations of this LoB. Further, you will work with a close-knit, proactive team as you help drive the company's business goals. Base Location/Travel Requirements:
- This person should be based in central or eastern Pennsylvania.
- This is a remote position with flexibility to work from any IB Abel office and from home when appropriate.
- Occasional travel as necessary to other offices, customer job sites, yard locations, and trips for training and offsite meetings.
Essential Functions/Duties:
- Exemplify, communicate, and conduct business in accordance with corporate values, policies, and procedures.
- Review storm-related contracts and agreements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and operations teams, to address any contract-related issues or concerns.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, standard operating procedures, and best practices to streamline the contract management process.
- Generate accurate and competitive rates for storm services based on project requirements, market conditions, and other relevant factors.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Build upon existing relationships and help foster positive engagement with new customers.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and addressing any deviations or discrepancies.
- Provide timely and accurate reports and updates on contract status, performance, and financial metrics.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to storm services and contract management.
- Represent the division with customers and industry associations.
- Participate with Safety & Quality to ensure a safe and incident-free workplace.
- Continually review equipment allocations and strive to maximize utilization.
Education, Skills, Experience: Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably in the storm restoration services or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law, terms, and conditions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.

- Valid Driver's License or equivalent
- Must be able to present acceptable documents evidencing identity and employment authorizations per the Federal I-9 requirement

- Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Commercial Contracts Manager) are a plus.
