We currently have an opening for a Loan and Demo Equipment Specialist in our Clarksburg, MD office.



Responsibilities

Requires a motivated individual to manage and maintain equipment inventory utilized for internal and external customers to showcase product capabilities, performance, and integration with other tactical communication systems. Will ensure proper tracking of equipment to and from event sites, proper operation and upkeep of equipment, and maintain software and firmware updates as required. Requires a sound knowledge of military tactical communications equipment and networking with associated ancillaries (EUD, audio, and various sensors).

  • Must maintain and report budget for Loan & Demo (L&D) activities.
  • Maintain detailed inventory status and availability.
  • Schedule shipments and coordinate associated activities (Export, COMSEC tracking, etc).
  • Coordinate and assist with developing and identifying suite of equipment required for successful events.
  • Clearly communicate with stakeholders to ensure proper equipment for proposed events.
  • Ensure inventory is maintained and updated to ensure proper and expected operations.
  • Support customer training and test events as required.
  • Provide supplemental support to the field service team as required.


Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required. - Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications - Fluent in English.
  • Must possess excellent communications skills; familiarity with group training and have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience with tactical communications equipment.
  • A technical degree and prior experience in communications operator training is preferred.
  • Strong consideration will be given to experienced military personnel with directly related, applicable skill sets in lieu of a technical degree. Junior engineers in directly aligned tactical communications companies with experience and a strong desire to transition to customer focused applications will also be considered.
  • Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.
  • Willingness to travel 10% at a minimum is a must. Travel may be to anywhere in the world to support training users of our equipment.

The annualized pay range for this role is $74,160 - $94,760 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 5%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above. TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
