Join the Department of Radiation Oncology as a Quality Assurance Technician (Hospital Blank Assistant I) and play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and safety of radiation treatment plans. Under the guidance of Dr. Nzhde Agazaryan, Chief of Clinical Physics, you'll collaborate with a dynamic clinical physics team to perform essential quality assurance checks on advanced treatment plans, contributing directly to the care and well-being of our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly skilled team at the forefront of oncology care.

Salary: $21.07-$27.79 hourly

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team
  • Must be able to demonstrate analytical reasoning and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to maintain a neat, clean, organized work area.
  • Ability to establish and maintain accurate records.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to follow written and spoken instructions.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, i.e. evenings
  • Ability to read and comprehend Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information
  • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing with multi-disciplinary team (therapists, physicists, treatment planners, etc.)
  • Ability to use medical physics software and ARIA
  • Ability to Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove QA equipment up to 50 pounds.
