We are looking for a IT Data Specialist in USA. Your mission will be to:
Purpose (Objective):
The IT Data Specialist (DS) ensures accurate and efficient data management within a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The role involves updating test codes, resolving data integration issues, managing product information changes, and improving data quality. The DS collaborates with IT, product management, and customer care to troubleshoot issues, support quality initiatives, and implement data management solutions. This position plays a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction through effective data practices and adhering to global data standards.
Main activities:
- DS is responsible for test code update and creation as defined in the SOP/WI and will work in collaboration with other departments to ensure timely and accurate setup. If delays occur, DS will escalate as appropriate to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage requestor accountability toward ticket resolution as well as provide visibility to the Data Specialist manager (follow up, escalation request, unexpected impact).
- Work with the other DS, and update LIMS with any modifications to product information such as variations, or method change requests from product management.
- Strongly collaborate with the LIMS application team by providing the appropriate analytical data to support instruments interfacing and with the Commercial operation team ensuring ERP mapping.
- Assist in the investigation of incidents related to test codes and related LIMS objects using knowledge of Labware LIMS basic.
- Assist in project work from the various business segments related to Data Clean-up Projects and Data quality improvements such as, not limited to, Micro Optimization and Chemistry boost.
- Maintain knowledge of LabWare LIMS as required to complete job responsibilities including collaboration with DS in updating team WI.
- Continuously recommending and implementing process improvements based on data management best practices
Perform other related duties as needed

Communication:
Regular contact with personnel in Commercial Operations, Sales, Sales Enablement, IT, and other business units. Clear communication will be required to help users understand their needs and ensure data integrity across all systems. Constant communication with cross-functional groups for the benefit of master data, operations and the client.
Knowledge:
A minimum of an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Mathematics, or Computer Science, or relevant experience. At least two years of experience at a production laboratory.
Required skills:
- Strong and broad knowledge of personal computer software and generation of reports from various platforms.
- Intermediate knowledge of at least one computer language (broad knowledge of SQL is a plus)
- Strong working knowledge of food testing procedures and terminology is necessary to fully understand company needs.
- Intermediate understanding of Data Management, Product Lifecycle, and Data Governance
- Ability to take ownership of multiple projects concurrently; use appropriate tools for project management and consistently deliver sustainable solutions on time.
- High attention to detail and experience communicating with users.
- This position requires the ability to follow specific instructions.
- Written and oral communication skills are essential for success.
- Management: No direct reports.
Work Environment:
This position primarily works in an office environment in which surroundings are usually comfortable. This position may spend long periods of time in front of a computer terminal. Physical dexterity is necessary to effectively manipulate a keyboard. The incumbent can expect extended time spent in a sitting position. This position may experience some stress as a result of trying to meet clients' demands that may be on a tight schedule.

Compensation Range:
$60,000 - $70,000 annual salary
