GENERAL SUMMARY:

Location: Population Health, Jackson MI

Shift: Day Shift

Reports to the Director of Value-Based Products/Partnerships of Jackson Health Network (JHN) and provides coordination of high-impact network initiatives and development of critical network-level strategic growth initiatives within a large pluralistic clinically integrated network of healthcare providers. Works closely with Network and hospital leadership to develop and execute growth strategies, develop partnerships with key stakeholders, analyze business opportunities, communicate Network value propositions, and measure and achieve growth performance targets to drive aligned lives.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provides expertise and consultation to leadership and team members in the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives across a large clinically integrated network of healthcare providers.
  • Analyzes, gathers, and interprets multiple sources of data and information including assessment of attributed lives, referral patterns, market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and support network development/adequacy, provider diversity, expansion of payor contracts and other growth-related strategies.
  • Articulates value proposition of network services, contracts, and results to a wide variety of customers/constituents.
  • Coordinates and conducts marketing, outreach and recruitment efforts to providers and practice leadership.
  • Builds relationships with large and varied network of stakeholders and drive value-based partnerships with physicians, payers, and community organizations.
  • Provides expert guidance and consultation to network, hospital and healthcare practices on growth strategies and business development opportunities.
  • Tracks and reports on key performance indicators related to attributed lives and other growth targets.
  • Trains and educates staff, practice leadership and providers to identify opportunities for growth and assist targeted practices/providers/specialties in the development of action plans to achieve growth targets.
  • Works closely with Provider Affairs, Program Performance, and other teams to coordinate provider recruitment and onboardings

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in healthcare business development, marketing, or related field including a focus on building partnerships and developing and executing growth strategies.
  • Experience analyzing data, creating reports, and conducting market research to understand and identify financial and growth opportunities.
  • Ability to develop the business case and articulate financial benefits of clinical integration to a wide variety of healthcare stakeholders including administrators, practice management, providers, and community-based organizations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of value-based care, clinical integration, healthcare market trends, and industry competitors.
  • Strong analytical, creative problem solving, facilitation, critical thinking, and decision- making skills
  • Familiarity with healthcare provider credentialing and licensing requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for improving patient outcomes and driving growth in the healthcare industry.
  • Expert competency in Microsoft Office (i.e.: Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) and data management and reporting (including database) systems
