KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Account Management to join our Growth and Strategy organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with account management onshore and offshore resources to ensure efficiency and information sharing; ensure business continuity of the account processes; participate in Account Management (AM) initiatives
  • Identify and communicate potential operational issues/risks, escalate to the senior AM resource and assist with resolution as needed; exercise professional judgement and critical thinking skills, take opportunities to learn and adapt; demonstrate confidence and air of authority in day-to-day activities, and ability to manage tasks independently; tailor communications for the appropriate audience
  • Execute activities related to the implementation and integration of client Vendor Management Systems (VMS) into account processes; leverage firm-approved technology, systems, tools, and innovations to assist with account reporting (such as pipeline, forecasting, engagement tracking); understand the operational implications of the client Master Services Agreement (MSA), statement of work (SOW) templates and rate card(s), including changes (such as amendments/new terms to MSA)
  • Work with AM senior resource to standardize operational processes and implement enhancements. Assist with compliance with MSA requirements (GDPR, IPP, Web Controls); support responses to client requests, audits, and risk assessments; support responses to KPMG program reporting
  • Perform activities related to new account team onboarding, onboarding collateral creation and collaboration platform maintenance (such as for new resources joining account); own account resource onboarding activities and invoicing lifecycle; support responses to member firm inquiries

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience in one or more business related areas including financial and data analysis, project management, and business operations management
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field
  • Profound critical thinking and issue resolution skills, with a drive to tackle complex challenges and offer effective solutions; deep understanding of different business functions and ability to engage, as needed; ability to assess end-to-end processes, identify gaps, propose solutions, and oversee implementation
  • Effective time management skills and aptitude to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and delegate; excellent presentation skills with ability to summarize and analyze large data sets for leadership review
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and data analysis/reporting in Excel is required; experience with collaboration platforms, Customer Relationship Databases and Vendor Management Systems is preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage concurrent projects, prioritize multiple tasks and apply proactive and creative approach leveraging firm tools and resources
