What You Can Expect

As our Energy Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the impact of technical decisions for the customers, including financially, while being able to compare different solutions. Every day you will work closely with the on-site utilities business developers and Project Managers as well as share on-site utilities innovations, guidelines, best practices and tools across the team. The team is looking for someone who possess an interest in the development of renewable energies and decarbonize installation. And you will be reporting to the Utilities Head of Engineering.

What You'll Bring



  • You possess a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical/energy engineering
  • You have a minimum 2 years of work experience as Engineering, Solutions Architect of Capex-based On-site Utilities project
  • You have knowledge in multi-solutions required (CHPs, biomass-fired plants, cooling systems, compressed-air)
  • You know how to size and design on-site utilities project (CHP, steam utilities, compressed air, cooling power plant), multi energy system
  • You can estimate Capex and Opex in coordination with Operations & Management, Project Management and construction teams of on-site utilities projects and for contributing - with the Project team - to hand over the projects to the Energy Services Asset Management Department
  • You have experience in working within industrial environment
  • You have knowledge about technical regulatory
  • You have experience and understand commercial issues
  • You will liaise with and implement innovative solutions in a controlled manner
  • You will complete any other duties assigned

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 20% of the time
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;
  • Maintain exceptional level of organization and professionalism
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Efficient and result-oriented



Compensation

Salary Range: $74,500 - $114,195 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
