Overview

TRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country's most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence.

We are seeking a senior-level strategic proposal pricing lead. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of functions related to the pricing of our advanced energy services. The candidate should have a good understanding of the energy efficiency landscape and innovative solutions to competitively price our services.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of standardizing pricing processes across service lines. This includes reviewing and providing improvements to existing pricing tool.
  • Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to gather an understanding of scope of work, client needs, and associated requirements in order to develop proper bids.
  • Collaborate with executive and regional leadership on pricing strategies and provide expertise in this regard.
  • Ability to work with a Technology Team in developing pricing for technology support - coordinate with Technology Project Manager to confirm understanding of requirements and benchmarks and development of proper IT scopes and budgets. This includes level of effort by resource to meet requirements and deliverables.
  • Present and discuss P&L statements to TRC leadership team (CFO, Chief Risk officer) during proposal risk review presentations.
  • Provide additional bandwidth to the team for overall pricing development.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, business, planning, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of relevant finance related and management experience within the energy sector.
  • Occasional travel for key meetings may be required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • An understanding of developing performance pricing is desirable
  • Understanding of energy efficiency program implementation for residential and non-residential sectors.
  • Leadership experience developing a positive and healthy employee culture
  • Hands-on management experience in a fast-paced consulting environment with exceptional attention to detail and client service.
  • Success in developing and implementing plans and management of budgets and resources.
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communications skills.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills: proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
