Overview

The Midstream Program offers incentives to promote the sale of energy-efficient equipment, including lighting, food service, and HVAC to contractors. As the Midstream Program Administrator, you will oversee the paperwork, scheduling, and deadlines associated with these incentives, ensuring smooth program operations. This role requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in program databases. Excellent computer, phone, and email skills are essential to handle inquiries professionally.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor program metrics, budgets and KPIs for a Midstream products program which includes lighting, food service, and HVAC distributors.
  • Manage the roster of participating distributors including review of applications; issue and maintain annual participation agreements; monitor distributor performance; and coordinate with marketing team.
  • Update program incentive guides and workbooks as appropriate.
  • Work with Program Manager and/or marketing team to provide resources for distributors that support robust program participation.
  • Ensure projects meet technical requirements, budget requirements, and timelines; provide regular reporting on energy savings goals, customer projects, and budgets.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. outreach, marketing, QA/QC, field staff, finance, etc.), clients, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Use best practices in project management, risk assessment, and quality control.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the team's efficiency, productivity, and quality of work.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.
  • Lead and conduct meetings and/or attend occasional on-site meetings and presentations. Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to clients and vendors.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Sustainability, or similar studies.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, or related sectors.
  • Basic understanding of Lighting, Food Service, or HVAC sales/distribution.
  • Hands-on management experience in a fast-paced consulting environment with exceptional attention to detail and client service.
  • Strong technical writing skills and aptitude for communicating (written and oral) technical and programmatic concepts to program stakeholders.
  • Team-oriented, hands-on, adaptive, and client-focused attitude.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
  • Awareness and familiarity with NJ energy efficiency landscape, related regulatory requirements, and key actors.

This position is based out of the TRC's New Brunswick, NJ office.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
