This position requires an active TS/SCI with Adjudicated Polygraph clearance.

As a Software Engineer, you will work on a technical development program supporting a specific Agency's Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM/ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes, and Digital Policy Management. You will work with a large team of developers, software engineers, and data engineer.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Estimated Starting Salary Range for Software Engineer, SME: $147,000 to $218,000.
• Pay commensurate with experience.
• Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Software Engineer, SME Responsibilities Include:

• Develop CloudFormation scripts to generate network and application infrastructure in a repeatable fashion.
• Ability to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances.
• Experience with Python.
• Develop Java and Python applications that leverage Neo4j and Elasticsearch
• Ability to Implement NodeJS PM2 for application monitoring and resiliency.
• Utilized SAFe agile techniques to manage workload.
• Leverage Amazon Web Services
• Experience creating RESTful API
• All team members will be required to participate in a 24/7 on call rotation for 1 week every 8 weeks.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Software Engineer, SME Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• An active TS/SCI with an adjudicated Polygraph (Fully Cleared)
• Sixteen (16) years of experience in software engineering/development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance)
• Bachelor's degree and or equivalent experience in a related field in lieu of a degree
• Experience with Java, Springboot, Python and the Cloud / Amazon Web Services
• Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements
• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or Rundeck
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
