Look after our customers in the Gulf of Mexico

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be providing a vital service by implementing, monitoring, and evaluating chemical treating systems. You will take ownership of sites and ensure they have the service needed to operate in a safe and compliant manner. You will be supporting our customers needs across the Gulf of Mexico.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Communicates across direct organization. Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
  • Handles latitude in project techniques. Project process requires choosing right approaches. Employees should have technical know-how.
  • Handles diverse clients in a region. Follows frameworks to get through the processes. There is room for negotiating and client specific conditions.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor's degree in related field and or a high school diploma/GED with 4 years oilfield service experience
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Technical Support
  • Be a motivated self-starter, proactively taking initiative to lead and solve problems with technical and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for building and maintaining trusted relationships with customers
  • Have a solid awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks
  • Have the ability to develop and mentor small technical teams
  • Have excellent verbal and written skills required for report creation for customers and internal teams
  • Be willing to work in an variety of environments, including off-shore facilities on a rotational schedule as well as potential international work assignments
  • Be available for on call outside of normal business hours

  • Working at the base or work location when not at a customer off-shore location

  • This role is working with our customers off-shore in locations across the Gulf of Mexico. When onsite, you will have the flexibility to work in line with customer working patterns.
