Warehouse Team Leader

Summary: Alliance Air is seekking a Warehouse Team Lead! This key contributor leads the receiving process and activities of workers engaged in Receiving and Put-away. Will also be responsible for general work direction of other wareshouse staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Coordinates inbound freight and schedules respective dock appointments
• Monitors Receiving activities to ensure timely receipt and put-away of incoming material
• Direct oversight of personnel performing Receiving and Put-Away processes
• Audits Receiving transactions to ensure accuracy
• Ensures safety and plant policies adhered to in work area
• Assures proper preservation of product in work area
• Coordinates issues to resolve problems with the various departments
• Reports damaged freight
• Trains Material handlers in Receiving and Put-away procedures
• Maintains standards regarding output
• Expedites critical material through process
• Establishes or adjusts work schedules to meet production needs
• May have to provide assistance / oversight of picking processes
• Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve logistics processes
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency and reduce cost
• Supervisory - Oversight of Receiving and Put-away associates. Is responsible for providing work direction for respective employees

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of warehousing or inventory control experience preferred
• Experience with computer software required. Oracle and Excel preferred
• Previous lead experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range: 31 - 32 per hour (approx)
