DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all program activities, tracking progress, preparing reports, and maintaining ongoing communication with partners and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). You will ensure the successful fulfillment of cooperative agreement deliverables as outlined in the provided guidelines, including collaborating with evaluators to meet evaluation and performance reporting requirements, implementing evidence-based strategies, and fostering strategic partnerships with both CDC-funded programs and external organizations, including those not funded by the CDC. Additionally, you will manage grants for Quality Insights of Pennsylvania, an organization dedicated to improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes in the state, through sole source justification. You will also oversee the grant management for the Public Health Management Corporation, which serves as the professional evaluators for the project. Your assignments will be carried out independently, guided by your understanding of established standards and procedures. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are flexible between 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time with a minimum of one day per month in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (commonwealth title); or
- A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
