The Role:

The Key Account Manager will developandexpandour presence andsolutions activitywithinspecific assignedkeyaccounts,establishingM-I at those corporate entities as a Preferred Supplierfor their codingsolutions. The Key Account Manager will coordinate allequipment andsolutions opportunityeffortswithin theassigned key accounts andworkwith Account Managers attheplant level,while workingeffectively and openlywith the operationalpersonnel,Global customer team, and Regionalsupportfunctions like; thePre Sales, Post Sales, Marketing andTechnical/Customer Support groups

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible fordevelopmentof annual and medium-termbusinessplans and strategiesto increase shareofbusiness and sustainablerevenuewithin assignedaccounts.
  • Managethe salesprocessof assignedaccounts,reviewingneeds andrequirementsof specificprojects,provingthe"bigpicture"of aM-I solutionwithinthecustomersenvironment. Preparequotes andnegotiateprices andconditions.
  • Coordinate anddrive all saleseffortswithin assignedaccountsby interfacing atthecorporate level andbyowingthe equipmentand solutionopportunitieswhile seamlesslyworking in ateamwithterritoryAccount ManagersandOperationalpersonnel.
  • Visit anddevelopworkingrelationshipswith keypersonnel atthecorporateentity levelbydoing, amongother initiatives,corporatepresentationsonM-I and itsproducts, services and applications.
  • Communicateupwardto managementandtoOperationstheaccount activitiesrelatedtothe solutionsopportunities in SalesForcedot Com"SFDC" andourMISalestools.
  • Visitplants inthecaseofcomplex installations and act astheM-Irepresentativetodealwith service,products, andtechnical issues.
  • Continuouslydevelopproduct and market knowledge and selling skills.
  • CoordinatewiththeTerritoryAccount Managerstooptimizeandprovidevalue fortheassignedaccounts andto growthebusinessexponentially.

Job Requirements:

  • BA in Business Management / Administration,Engineering or related field
  • 3yearsofexperiencedevelopingbusinessplans
    • strategieswithdefinedplansformajornational companies in ahighly competitivemarketplace.
  • 5-10yearsof experience inpackaging & industrialmanufacturing field. Key accountmanagementexperience ispreferred.
  • Provenorganizational skills, strongcommunicator,professional in appearance anddemeanor.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter withtheabilitytowork independentlywith minimal supervision.
  • Anunderstandingof and aptitudetowardsthe salesprocess andtechniques is a must.
  • Experiencewith CRMtool andprocess, experiencewithSalesForcedesirable.
  • SubjectMatterExpert for Coding andMarking.
  • Understandingof IT Infrastructure (Networks, IntegrationtoERP/MES/WMS).
  • CompetitiveSelling and NegotiatingSkills.
  • Highlydevelopedcommunication skills;demonstrating strongverbal andwritten abilities.
  • Strongnumeric/analyticalcapabilities in (butnot limitedto) financial, systemquotes, forecasting, andproblemresolution.
  • Provenexperience inpreparing/delivering grouppresentations.
  • Personalcomputer skills, includingexperiencewithMicrosoftOffice, Teams, Power BI.
  • Ability to use digital selling tools such as LinkedIn Navigator, etc.
  • This role can expect to travel up to 70% of the time in a normal business environment
