This is a position with grade 19 This position reports to Planning & Fulfillment Manager Your role and responsibilities As a machine operator, you will work with rubber or epoxy molding machines Operate heated molding presses to mold and cure products Inspect each piece for cosmetic flaws; use light to inspect interior of work pieces Trim excess flash from product using a scalpel or grinding tool as needed Remove molded pieces from press upon completion of cycle, remove tooling from work pieces Manual material handling Meet established standard quality and productivity expectations Follow job Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) complete Maintain accurate quality and production records Proper use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed boots, and others as applicable All other duties, as assigned Qualifications for the role High School diploma or equivalent Prior manufacturing experience preferred Basic proficiency in computer systems and applications preferred Ability to lift up to 40lbs Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions Ability to stand for 8 hours daily Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching Comfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US More about us We value people from different backgrounds.
