Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be focusing on growth of the residential product portfolio in the defined segment. The Builder NAM will be responsible to identify key Home Builders, develop engagement plan, develop client relationships and work jointly with the electrification sales, engineering, marketing and product management teams to position ABB's value and expand share in the market. The work model for the role is: remote (#Li-Remote) This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division. You will be mainly accountable for: * Engage, maintain relationships, and create market expansion with Home Builders, electrical contractors, and channel partners in collaboration with field sales teams (those focused on single family new construction). Drive increased market penetration for residential product lines in this segment. * Work closely with the Product Marketing Management team on market feedback, new product launches, pricing strategy, future product needs. * Understand the competitive landscape and be able to articulate ABB's unique value proposition around our residential offer. * Maintain reports of your sales activities and opportunity tracking systems in Salesforce. * Manage the administration of the builder program including validation and processing invoices and reporting on status and success of the program.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a High School Diploma / GED) with a minimum of 12 years of experience in an electrically focused technical or sales role; Additional business education and/or certifications preferred.
- Must have previous sales experience identifying, capturing, and supporting new business, with Home Builders or relevant experience working for a Home Builders; Established relationships with the Home Builders and Electrical Contractors and ability to grow contacts within assigned accounts is preferred.
- Travel required is likely 50% as needed (national travel needed to attend industry meetings, networking events, and tradeshows as required)
- Experience with sales CRM or Salesforce is preferred.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $111,300 and $206,700 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus. myBenefitsABB.com
