This client is looking for a LAN/WAN Specialist to join the IT Ops team for a 6 month contract with possible extension. This person will be working with the IT Ops team within the NOC. They need a resource with LAN/WAN troubleshooting experience. They also have Nokia and Cisco switches and routers. Cisco is a must have, but Nokia is a plus. They have a few individuals on the team, but have more of a systems knowledge. This person will be working on the network side. Experience with circuits and how they fit together, along with experience troubleshooting routers and switches. One of the biggest needs for this role is for someone to have great documentation skills. They need someone who can do a great job documenting the processes of escalating and the troubleshooting process.
