Job Summary
Teach introductory or general chemistry courses appropriate to the candidate's qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare syllabi, deliver lectures (in person), grade assignments, and provide assistance to students as necessary
  • Demonstrate commitment to the liberal arts educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University
  • Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline

  • Ability to teach undergraduate students
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Ability to actively assess student comprehension
  • Ability to cooperate constructively with other instructors teaching the same or similar courses

    Experience

    Record of successful college teaching preferred.

    Education

    Minimum of master's degree in Chemistry or a related field required.

    Additional Information

    Compensation:

    $1,250 per credit hour for face-to-face instruction.
