Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Department of Radiology Division at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor to join the Body Imaging Division. Responsibilities include teaching and mentoring FSM trainees/students and pursuing further research in Body Imaging. Qualified candidates must be board certified, with additional training in body imaging. Ideal candidate will have expertise in CT technology, demonstrated interest in an academic career as well as Body Imaging research. Excellent clinical skills are also a prerequisite in this high-volume department (CT, MR, ultrasound and GI/GU radiology excluding interventional procedures). The successful candidate must also have excellent interpersonal skills. The Department of Radiology faculty provides clinical services to patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) and its Northwestern Medicine affiliates. NMH is a state-of-the-art tertiary medical center in the North Michigan Avenue area of Chicago, is the primary teaching hospital of the Feinberg School of Medicine and is the academic center of the Northwestern Medicine network of regional hospitals and outpatient centers. Excellent facilities are available for all imaging modalities related to body imaging, including 2 new Siemens GI Fluoroscopy units, 11 CT scanners (including two Siemens FORCE DS/DE, one 128 AS+ and several 64-slice units) and 18 clinical MR scanners (including 8 3T units). A PET-MR scanner has been recently installed. Salary and benefits are highly competitive. The start date is July 1, 2025, and the position will remain open until filled.
