Senior Vice President Human Resources & Deputy to Chief People Officer

TRC is recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President of Human Resource and Deputy to the Chief People Officer to lead a team of HR professionals responsible for delivering outstanding HR operational services to 8,000 global employees (US, Canada, Puerto Rico, UK, Europe, India, China). This executive will lead a team of 25 professional with 6 direct reports and report to the Chief People Officer. Direct responsibility for HRBPs, Payroll, and HR Technology & Systems.


As a TRC Human Resource Leader, you will ensure that all Human Resources policies and procedures are implemented along with ensuring understanding by leadership teams. In addition, you will consult, guide, and coach all levels of leadership (including senior and executive leaders) to create a positive and productive environment. Member of the HR Leadership team responsible for supporting and leading HR initiatives across all TRC. Serve as the HRBP to the Shared Services teams (Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Marketing & Communications, Corporate Development.)


Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight and leadership for the HR Business Partner and Operational teams supporting TRC's 8,000 employees in partnership with the Business, Finance, IT, and Legal leadership teams. Delivers efficient and proactive services supporting the company's strategy and business objectives.
  • HR Operational services encompass:
    • HR Business Partner teams (3) supporting dedicated business units and partnering with the Business Unit Presidents and leadership teams.
    • HR Technology and Systems (HRIS, Recruiting, Performance Management, Digital/Automation, Timekeeping, etc.)
    • Payroll (Eastern and Western Hemispheres).
  • Build HR Business Partner capacity to provide guidance and advice to all levels of management starting with team leaders, line managers, practice leaders, and executive leaders on HR policy and procedures while balancing needs with best practices.
  • Collaborate with HR Leadership team to implement initiatives that attract, retain, and develop talent, promote employee growth and satisfaction, and align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Evolve and maintain the HR operational roadmap to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support business growth with the use of both technology and offshore teams.
  • Manage relationships with HR vendors and service providers. Evaluate vendor capabilities, support contract negotiations with TRC Procurement leader, and establish/manage service level agreements (SLAs) compliance.
  • Develop and align HR analytics that understand the organization's objectives and translate into actionable initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR operational processes through evidence-based insights. Evaluate effectiveness of HR operational programs using data-driven methodologies.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track HR operational metrics regularly and provide actionable insights to the HR team, Finance, IT, Legal, and Business leaders.
  • Ensures compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to wage and hour laws and pay transparency.
  • Implement (ADP technology) to deliver annual Total Rewards statements to all employees.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Total Rewards to support Finance partners (CFO and CAO) with TRC's annual bonus and merit processes and ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Oversees the collection, maintenance and storage of all employee records and data.
  • Ensures data integrity and security while complying with all relevant regulations across the global entities in which TRC operates (and in collaboration with the Finance, IT, and Legal Teams).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 20+ years of HR Business Partner and HR Operational experience including Business Process Improvement, Change Management, Strategic Planning, Vendor Management, People Leadership, Talent, and Budget Management.
  • Evidence of exceptional ability within HR transformation, efficiency, automation/technology, and offshoring.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, dynamic, fast-paced, growing and constantly changing environment.
  • Prior working experience for a Private Equity backed business.
  • Multi-National experience and expertise within the UK and European Union.
  • HR offshoring experience and managing offshore teams.
  • Excellent team building skills and ability to develop positive and trusting working relationships across all functions and especially with the Finance, IT, and Legal partners.
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workloads, and meet deadlines.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
