In this role you'll make an impact by:
Supporting the development and improvement of safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Providing training to ensure that employees understand and adhere to the protocols Participating or lead safety investigations using structured problem-solving tools Leading the site's safety team Conducting regular inspections and assessments of workplace conditions, equipment and practices to identify areas for improvement and to ensure ongoing compliance Analyzing safety data of, hazardous incidents and near misses to proactively identify trends, measure progress and report key metrics Evaluating potential safety impact of new processes, changes in process, equipment & software and conduct reviews of proposed capital projects Collaborating cross functionally and cross regionally to communicate and address safety matters
To succeed you must hold:
Ability to take initiative and work under limited supervision Ability to clearly communicate with personnel at all levels and functions at the site Ability to be organized and to maintain focus on priority issues Strong analytical and technical skills
Physical Requirements of this role include:
You must be able to move about in the processing areas and be able to climb stairs, ladders, and other access areas within the production area. Must possess visual acuity and physical ability to support all functions of the job at all times. You must be able to unhindered and adequately use all common PPE such as but not limited to: hard hat, goggles, ear protection and respirator. You must be able to climb stairs and work in heights.

Expected salary range: $90,000 - $105,000
