Administrative Supervisor - Knoxville, TN SUMMARY: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Administrative Operations Supervisor will assist with the day-to-day operations by promoting the company values, guiding principles, and the strategic goals of GMR. The Administrative Operations will work to meet the business objectives of the organization through consumer satisfaction, positive community relations, retaining a profitable market share, and driving employee morale. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain master schedule for field and supervisory personnel.
- Ensure optimal service levels to agencies, hospitals, and the medical community.
- Analyze information regarding customer satisfaction, modify processes, and counsel employees to ensure high levels of customer service.
- Share information with others in the region and other GMR operating companies to increase the use of best practices.
- Establish plans and implement specific actions to assist in the quick and effective integration of new companies into the GMR family.
- Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, counsel/provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel and works to facilitate individual and team development that drives positive results.
- Responsible for compliance with and enforcement of company/department policies and procedures.
- Establish goals and objectives for field operations based upon communicated goals and strategies for the region and clearly communicate these goals/objectives to the appropriate employees.
- Provide direction, clarity of expectations, and coaching to supervision.
- Manage employee performance by setting and communicating standards, measuring results, and providing feedback.
- Role model appropriate behavior regarding GMR Vision and Guiding Principles.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA, EEO, and other applicable local, state/federal laws governing business and employee relations.
- Actively develop, train, and promote the use of work teams for process improvement.
- Ensure effective, timely, and cost-efficient contract administration.
- Code and enter attendance information and lost unit hours.
- Initiate process requests for leave of absence.
- Process shift bids.
- Maintain certification and qualification records.
- Maintain bid/transfer records.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Assist field personnel with scheduling and payroll issues.
- Assure full and appropriate staffing of units to minimize lost unit hours.
- Initiate Personnel Action Notice for all employee status changes.
- Provide customer service to field employees.
- Initiate and receive telephone calls.
- Coordinate and direct the activities of the Operations Supervisors and Field Supervisors, applying fundamentals of leadership and supervision while promoting teamwork.
- Perform or coordinate fair and impartial investigation of incidents, personnel matters, complaints, and ensure their timely resolution.
- Address complaints and resolve problems.
- Assist in driving performance management.

- Adhere to and compliance with information systems security policies.
- Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Licensing/Certification:
- Current EMT or Paramedic license.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years EMS experience.
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated effective track record cultivating relationships with internal and external customer-base.
- Previous administrative experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including: Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
