Position Title: Material Handler
Wage: $20.35/hour Shift: Various Hours: 5am-3pm, 3:15pm-1:15pm, 5am-5pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Whitewater, WI. This is a contract to hire role. Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Obtain merchandise from bins and shelves - Execute daily operations of raw materials - Load, unload, and move materials within or near plant, yard, and work site - Attach identifying tags to containers or marked them with identifying information - Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs - Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work ticket Material Handler Requirements: - Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time - Ability to twist, bend, stoop, push, and pull to move items about warehouse - Ability to lift at least 50lbs frequently throughout shift a must - Previous experience in production environment, especially in industrial preferred - Previous forklift (stand-up) operation experiences a plus - High level of attention to detail and accuracy - Comfortable in fast-paced settings QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
