Position Purpose The Loan Documentation Associate will report to the Manager of Documentation and will be responsible for managing a variety of duties necessary for the effective servicing of Government Guaranteed Commercial Loans, with the opportunity to manage critical lender relationships. The Loan Documentation Associate will be responsible for performing a variety of loan documentation compliance/internal reviews with a focus heavily concentrated on the preparation and review of loan closing documents, file indexing, building of liquidation preparatory documentation packages, and interaction with clients and third parties (e.g. Windsor clients (banks), insurance agents, attorneys, CPA's etc.).
Position Responsibilities
- Exhibit a detailed understanding, application and adherence to Loan Documentation policies and procedures. Oversee and ensure policies and procedures are being followed in compliance with regulatory and bank guidelines.
- Manage detailed compliance reviews to maintain complete, accurate and auditable electronic supporting documentation packages for all types of loan products.
- Effectively manage Loan Documentation relationships with banks.
- Effectively manage loan collateral lien perfection including life of loan maintenance.
- Research, analyze, and interpret all applicable SBA SOP polices. When necessary, also train and implement new/updated policies.
- Proficiently use the PCFS2000 Loan Manager system (Loan Manager)
- Prepare and manage loan collateral reports to banks (via email).
- Prepare and manage loan file deliveries to banks (via email).
- Effectively manage cross departmental relationships for follow up on non-compliant loan documentation.
- Ensure that all Bank assets related to the loan closing function are properly safeguarded through insurance and financial documentation against errors, omissions, regulatory criticism, or potential loss.
- Maintain deep client relationships and balance communication skills with a high attention to administrative detail.
- Actively contribute to weekly department meetings to identify, discuss, solve, and implement department process improvements
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws.
- Follow regulatory requirements including those pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and OFAC to assist in the identification, detection and determent of money laundering or other unlawful activities.

Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Additional training in loan closing or processing would be preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years related experience in administration, finance, or similar industry.
- Experience working effectively with off-site team members to complete projects.
- Experience with all forms of closing documentation and closing requirements preferred.
- Experience with all SBA product offerings preferred.
- Experience with USDA product offerings preferred.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of commercial loan products and procedural compliance.
- Knowledge of legal and closing documents, insurance documents, construction documents, appraisal documents, and environmental documents preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of SBA/USDA, government guaranteed lending preferred.
- Work software including Microsoft Office, Office 365, Adobe Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to effectively present information one-on-one as well as identify, analyze, and solve problems.
- Must be able to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Must be effective in group situations with other staff members.
- Exhibit critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines.
Working Arrangements
- This is a hybrid role expected to work in office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You will be able to work remotely on Tuesday and Friday.
