Aircraft Fueling Technician

Guardian Flight (Ely Jet Center) is seeking an Aircraft Fueling Tech the following position in Ely, NV. Ely Jet Center is a full-service Fixed Base Operator (FBO) offering "into wing" fuel for both company and general aviation aircraft. Ely Jet Center business hours are Monday through Saturday from 8AM-5PM

Position Details:

• Compensation Range: $18/per hour based on experience.
• Work Location: 1470 McGill Highway, Ely, NV 89301
• Position Reports To: Tim Parish (Ely Jet Center Manager)

Duties:

• Provide friendly, high level customer service
• Responsibly process and record financial transactions to include contract fuel, credit cards, and cash.
• Provide fuel into aircraft via aviation refueling truck while observing all industry standard practices and safety protocols.
• Perform and record daily, monthly, and annual fuel quality inspections on all fueling assets.
• Accommodate and transact customer requests such as Ground Power or Tie Down service.
• Maintain competency as an aircraft fueler
• Provide various other tasks as directed by EJC Manager to include but not limited to:
• Coordinate servicing of FBO courtesy vehicle(s), company vehicles, & fuel trucks.
• FBO Snow Removal
• Light building maintenance
• Ensuring FBO cleanliness
• Must be available for 24/7 on call coverage

Qualifications:

• Applicant must be local or willing to relocate to Ely, NV or immediate surrounding area to be able to provide call-out service within 30 minutes.
• Applicant must have reliable transportation to accommodate after hours fuel requests.
• Applicant must possess a current driver's license.
• Aircraft fueling experience is preferred.
• Provide or obtain FAA Approved Fuel Safety Training Certification.

  • Requires "hands on" fire extinguisher training
