YOU'LL GET TO:
- Promote benefits of clean water through pollution prevention.
- Map stormwater networks (GIS database preferred).
- Inspect stormwater control measures and outfalls (locations where concentrated stormwater enters watercourses).
- Assist with applications and management of Grants and other auxiliary funding sources supporting MS4 program.
- Model existing and anticipated pollutant loads.
- Facilitate meetings and trainings.
- Create programs, policies, and procedures supporting stormwater pollution prevention.
- Design and oversee construction of pollutant-reducing projects.
- Prepare and manage grant applications.
- Mentor junior staff and network with clients.
- Assist with other department water resource projects including stream and wetland restoration, green stormwater infrastructure, dams, and similar.

SKILLS WE WANT:
- 5-8 Years' Experience
- Will considered Landscape Architect, Professional Engineer, Environmental Planner, Environment Scientist, equivalent work experience, etc.
- Experience in any or all of the following: stormwater pollutant reduction modeling, stormwater management design, site grading, erosion and sediment pollution control, the permitting and approval process, land planning regulations and National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4.)
- Technical writing including specifications, standard operating procedures, and/or ordinances development.
- Compliance inspections
- Project management skills achieving milestones and deadlines.
- Competence in client relationships and meeting facilitation.
- Competence in use of software for drafting, presentation, and routine office administrative tasks
- Grant writing is a plus
- Writing and verbal communication skills
- Willing and able for occasional travel and overtime
