Job Description

This is a PART-TIME position with the following hours:

One day per week, 2pm-7pm, could be rotating days, PLUS every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) 12pm-8pm.

Pay is $17.17/hour.

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Guard to join our security team in Red Wing, MN. As a Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets.

  • Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or hazardous situations
  • Prepare and maintain security logs, reports, and records of daily activities and incidents
  • Conduct regular inspections of security devices and equipment to ensure proper functioning (Boiler, Fire Safety System)
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
  • Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to climb stairs in multi-story buildings
  • Strong observation and communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring security systems
  • Knowledge of security procedures and protocols preferred
  • Ability to work in Red Wing, United States; familiarity with the local area is a plus
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
