The PA Cardiac First Assist Per Diem at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is responsible and accountable for health stabilization, promotion and maintenance of acute and chronic cardiac illness or injury under the supervision of a physician. Physician Assistant's (PA's) are expected to participate in evidenced based clinical practice, clinical research, and ongoing innovative education and shared governance throughout the organization. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Performs admission history and physicals. Evaluates health condition of patient prior to surgery. Evaluates and clarifies clinical conditions. Orders appropriate laboratory and radiographic tests. Formulates and implements treatment and therapeutic plans for hospitalized patients. QUALIFICATIONS: * Clinical Master's degree as a Physician Assistant Or Master's degree with a Physician Assistant Certificate Or Bachelor's of Science in Physician Assistant with National Certification Questions: Please email Maria Goode: mgoode4@jh.edu Salary Range: Minimum 69.64 per hour - Maximum 69.64 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
