Here's what you'd do:

  • The financial analyst's role is to provide commercial support to clients.
  • Financial function support encompasses the client's Wholesale sales group, Residential products, and Residential new products in development.
  • Responsible for the sales forecast and improving accuracy while streamlining the process.
  • Provide all internal customers with a clear, concise, and accurate financial performance assessment while identifying financial goal gaps and prioritizing actions.
  • Deliver a project on the overall assessment of customer programs, including rebate structure, return spending, and other customer deductions.
  • Deliver customer and product gross profit reporting in an accurate, simple, repeatable, and streamlined format.
  • Work with the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning team (SIOP) on forecast accuracy and delivering improved unit volume forecasts.
  • Direct team to accurate and reliable data on the business's price, mix, and volume drivers and understand shares gain/losses in the market.
  • Ensure new product development cases have clear business and financial plans.
  • Assist management in developing accurate Financial Plans, such as the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly Forecast preparation.
  • Operates with a sense of urgency and ownership in performing job duties.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an entry-level business, financial management, or accounting position.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in database and Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Revenue management skills and product knowledge skills.
  • Good sense of accountability.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, workload, and tight deadlines.
  • Good analytical, quantitative, and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills at various organizational levels.
  • Ability to consolidate complex data/information into concise communication points.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including but not limited to project planning, time management, and project management.
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, and able to work on time-sensitive projects without daily supervision.
  • A proven track record of reporting and utilizing financial information to drive business performance.
  • Accuracy and precision in all matters of presenting and reporting data.
  • Thorough understanding of Financial Systems and Reporting.
  • Excellent skills in prioritizing and planning work activities, developing realistic action plans, and time efficiency (balance of analytical and action-oriented).
  • Ability to balance having perfect data/analysis and decision-making.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills across all levels.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
