Midwest/Southeast near major airport, Dallas TX, Cincinnati OH Job Description: This position would be responsible and instrumental in achieving connectivity and execution at retail for the $300M chain while managing salty snacking portfolio. Operations: Lead sales team of DSM, DSS, and RSM in the implementation of 7-Eleven corporate initiatives, while developing key 7-Eleven Operations contacts. Including the communication of programming, providing tools to analyze the business, and increases execution and franchisee participation. In addition, work and collaborate with National C-store Operations Manager with presentation material and retail meetings/MIPs. In addition, this role is customer facing and is held responsible for the presentation of relevant materials to the 7-Eleven buying team. Responsibilities:
- Hershey Retail Organization:
- Prepare monthly presentations focusing on initiatives for cycle
- Develop tools to be used at CSE/DMM/DSS/RSM level
- Attend Monthly REM's and Retail Sales meetings
- On-boarding new DSS's and partner to develop 7-11 field contacts
- Communicate with ASD on expectations
7-Eleven Operations:
- This individual must develop detailed knowledge of 7-Eleven Operations structure
- They need to establish relationships with Market Managers and Zone Managers
- They must prepare presentations, sales sheets and help set the strategy for penetrating this organization
- Analyze territory opportunities
Franchise Owners Associations:
- Work collaboratively with Retail Organization to build & develop relationships with key FOA's (41 total)
- They must prepare presentations, sales sheets and help set the strategy for penetrating this organization.
- Attending events and education of category
- Salty: Responsible for profitably growing the Hershey snacking business to include Amplify and Dots at 7-11 to achieve the objective/plan, including net sales, market share, trade spend, sales activity margin. This position will also be responsible for the development of 7-11 Zone Managers across US. Responsibilities include business planning & analysis, creating valued business partnerships with customers by becoming a business advisor, achieving mutually beneficial agreements through skilled negotiation and understanding of the customers business. This position will require to work closely with the 7-11 Ops, CSI and Senior Manager as well as Hershey Retail team to provide direction, communication, tools, and days in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve net sales, market share, trade spend, sales activity margin targets for assigned customer(s)through simulating and planning incremental volume, pre and post analysis, and displaying core competencies and behaviors
- Judiciously manage and allocate trade funds (maintaining compliance with all Sarbanes Oxley policies) to achieve profitable sales growth
- Build and maintain appropriate sales plans in PlanEx
- Manage trade fund budget to include clearing deductions
- Monitor and control customer expenses to include WASTE and supply chain costs.
- Develop detailed knowledge of 7-Eleven Operations structure and establish relationships Zone Managers
- Prepare presentations, sales sheets and help set the strategy for penetrating total 7-11 Operations Levels
- Develop and provide resources and tools to the retail team.
- Achieve appropriate levels of account penetration and quarterly business reviews
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
