Student Services Specialist (Testing & Assessment) Job ID: 320822 Location: Glendale Community College Full/Part Time: Full Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Salary Range $18.82 - $23.55/hourly, DOE Grade 109 Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; some evenings and weekends may be required. Job Summary Provides customer service, assists new and returning students/customers by administering and proctoring exams using various testing software. Liaison with academic and student affairs departments, Field of Interests (FOIs), and external organizations. Maintains electronic and paper testing records. Prepares reports, updates website and may create FMS requisitions. May implement technology advancements in their area of responsibility. Performs other duties as assigned. Additional Information The position is at Glendale Community College main campus. Some travel to the Glendale Community College north campus may be required. Essential Functions 30% - Administers various tests to students 30% - Provides student support in the testing center 20% - Creates and updates testing reports and maintains testing records 15% - Prepares program materials and updates website 5% - Performs duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution, and one year full-time of student services or college teaching experience or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, customer service, or related student development programs. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
