Summary: Supports and receives mentoring from Quote Manager / Director to provide quotations to customers by utilizing technical and financial knowledge for the preparation of quotation packages for projects and programs. Gathers information from different business units to develop manufacturing cost proposals and collaborates with internal business partners, leveraging the costing models to provide timely, accurate and dynamic information to assist in decision making. Communicates and practices pricing strategies in support of ongoing sales efforts. Responsibilities: *Create and maintain quoting programs utilizing Microsoft Excel and/or advanced database programs to efficiently quote new and existing business. *Understand customer RFP/RFI/RFQ's and customer inputs and requirements relative to scope of quote and liability to Benchmark and ensure quotes are in line with sector regulations/requirements. Review customer specifications to ensure quote is technically compatible and competitive. *Structure pricing and execute the quote in a manner that will be competitive and position Benchmark to win the opportunity consistent with the operating guidelines established for the sector. *Maintain the accuracy of quoting models and information in the operating system to ensure accurate cost and quoting programs. Execute ad-hoc costing studies and analyses when needed. *Understand, analyze, document and communicate contractual, technical and commercial terms and conditions relative to the company standard. *Work with material quote and engineering resources and/or support quotation of materials and labor quotes in order to obtain the information required to deliver a quality quote on time. Education: 4 year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management.
