The Vice President of Procurement & Subcontracting (PSM) USA
will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and executing
the regional procurement and subcontracting strategy, ensuring
alignment with Exyte's overall objectives in the advanced
semiconductor, microelectronics, life sciences, and alternative
energy sectors. This senior leadership position demands an
experienced and dynamic individual with deep expertise in
procurement management, subcontracting, and supplier
relationship management.

As a key member of Exyte's leadership team, you will lead a
high-performance team, develop and implement strategic
procurement initiatives, drive process improvements, and
enhance supplier relationships to meet the company's business
goals. You will also ensure that procurement processes and
subcontracting activities are integrated effectively across the
business, supporting the company's continued growth in the
high-tech industry.

Procurement & Subcontracting Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement the regional Procurement &
    Subcontracting Management (PSM) strategy that aligns with
    business objectives and industry trends within the
    semiconductor and high-tech sectors (e.g., microelectronics,
    life sciences, alternative energy).
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes,
    policies, and technology, fostering best-in-class practices
    across the regional team.


Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor a regional PSM team, promoting a
    high-performance culture and ensuring effective collaboration
    and results.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development to
    team members, helping them navigate routine and complex
    procurement tasks.


Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Manage a consolidated supplier base, cultivating
    relationships to meet operational needs while ensuring cost
    optimization, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies in
    collaboration with Corporate Procurement to address cost
    drivers, market conditions, and business unit needs.


Business Integration & Early-Stage Support

  • Provide early-stage PSM support for new business
    initiatives, ensuring the smooth integration of procurement and
    subcontracting processes, and maximizing operational synergy.
  • Oversee staffing, project plans, system deployments, and
    early-works delivery in fast-paced, high-tech environments.


Cost Optimization & Supplier Diversity

  • Drive total cost reduction, cost savings, and Supplier
    Diversity goals, working closely with suppliers and internal
    teams to identify opportunities for improved sourcing and
    supplier performance.
  • Conduct financial, risk, and cost analysis to guide
    decision-making and optimize procurement strategies.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Support

  • Collaborate with regional business leaders to align
    procurement efforts with organizational goals, supporting the
    overall success of Global Business Units (GBU).
  • Provide support for preconstruction, estimating, and
    proposal development, ensuring the integration of procurement
    needs into the project lifecycle.


Technology Adoption & Procurement Tools

  • Enable the team to stay ahead of emerging trends in digital
    procurement and source management tools, fostering a culture of
    innovation and leveraging technology to streamline complex
    procurement processes.
  • Oversee the adoption of tools for managing complex spend
    portfolios, driving efficiency and accuracy.


Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure full compliance with corporate procurement policies,
    procedures, and governance standards across all procurement
    activities.
  • Lead contract negotiations, resolve disputes, and offer
    functional guidance on procurement matters to mitigate risks
    and ensure project success.


International Travel & Site Visits

  • Engage in international business travel and site visits as
    needed to support project procurement execution, supplier
    relationships, and strategy development.


Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties as required to support the
    success and growth of the company's procurement and
    subcontracting efforts.

Minimum Required

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Proven expertise in leading large, cross-functional teams,
    managing large-scale procurement projects, and developing
    supplier relationships in a high-tech, global
    environment.
  • Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier
    relationship management, and cost optimization.


Preferred

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, PMP, or other
    procurement-related credentials) are a plus.
  • Prior experience with service-related contracts such as
    fixed price, unit price, time and material, and cost
    reimbursable contracts.
  • Prior experience applying principles of financial analysis,
    activity-based costing, and supply chain methodology.

  • Strategic procurement and supply chain expertise: Deep
    understanding of global supply chain dynamics, sourcing
    strategies, and procurement best practices.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Advanced skills in
    negotiating, drafting, and managing contracts with suppliers
    and subcontractors.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong ability to manage budgets, analyze
    cost structures, and implement cost-saving initiatives without
    compromising quality.
  • Risk Assessment and mitigation: Proficiency in identifying
    potential risks (e.g., supply chain disruptions, vendor
    reliability issues) and implementing contingency plans.
  • Deep knowledge of subcontracting and sourcing strategies,
    supplier relationship management, cost optimization, and
    contract negotiation.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire
    teams, drive results, and maintain a culture of continuous
    improvement.
  • Proficiency in digital procurement tools, procurement
    systems, and data analytics.
  • Strong decision-making ability with a focus on delivering
    results under pressure.
  • Strong ethical framework and high standards of integrity in
    all procurement activities.
  • Highly effective in negotiations and influencing others to
    achieve optimal outcomes while maintaining positive, productive
    relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with
    the ability to articulate procurement strategies clearly to
    senior leadership, business units, and suppliers.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills, with the
    ability to foster a collaborative environment across diverse
    and global teams.
