Compensation Grade: P25Compensation Details: Minimum: $91,922.00 - Maximum: $91,922.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OPH) Office of Public HealthJob Description: In addition to the compensation above, this position is eligible for location pay ($4,000/year). Responsibilities Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing CDC Public Health Infrastructure Grant activities within the Metropolitan Area Regional Office. Specific duties will include overseeing program planning/activities, ensuring compliance with CDC Public Health Infrastructure grant requirements, streamlining communication between Central, Regional Offices and Local Health Departments, hosting workgroup meetings to bring Central OPH Programs and Services to Regional Offices. The Senior Program Coordinator will be responsible for representing the office on workgroups, supervising staff working with local health departments, providing guidance and technical assistance to the Regional Office as it relates to CDC reporting, recruitment and retention activities, and other appropriate related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of program coordination experience in a public health, health, or human services-related program or community-based organization; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and six years of such experience; OR eight years of such experience. The experience must have been contributing toward the development, implementation and/or evaluation of a program, project, or other related activities. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. At least two years of experience must have included supervision of staff and/or program management. Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel, up to 25% of the time, will be required. This position may require occasional work on weekends, after-hours, and holidays. This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.
