Location

Come and join our team at this 605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center(OKC Thunder), the Oklahoma Convention Center and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.

The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Additionally, guests can enjoy a Mokara Spa, fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) complete with a fire pit, outdoor lawn and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space inclusive of a 20,000 square foot ballroom, 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space that overlooks the park.



Job Description

Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is seeking an experienced Overnight Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team of this upscale hotel. This team member will ensure that the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, hallways, back of house and landing meets Omni 4 Diamond standards. Clean and maintain all carpets in public and associate areas, in accordance with Omni 4 Diamond standards.



Responsibilities

    Guide and support overnight crew and team operations.
  • Inspect Public areas.
  • Shampoo and spot clean all hotel carpeted areas.
  • Operate and maintain carpet cleaning machinery and supplies.
  • Shampoo lobby and public area carpets.
  • Shampoo guestroom and hallway carpets.
  • Cleaning the front of the house and back of the house floors.
  • Reporting all damage to carpeted areas.
  • Proper documentation of scheduled cleaning cycles.
  • To service lobby and lower lobby pre-function space.
  • To service all public restrooms in lobby, lower lobby, and pool areas when needed.
  • Services both men's and ladies associate locker rooms when needed.
  • Walk tower to report OPT and Privacies to HSKP and clearing trash and trays.
  • Inspects the cleanliness and servicing of all guest-facing and back of house areas.
  • Assigns special projects as directed by the Director/Assistant Director/Manager of Housekeeping.
  • Reports on any needed repairs or discrepancies of hotel facilities.
  • Ensures that all Lobby Attendants and GRAs have appropriate supplies and linens.
  • Assists in the cleaning or inspecting of guest rooms when necessary.
  • Ensures that the GRA's linen and/or lobby cart is neat and well organized.
  • Maintain all supply storage closets, neat and clean at all times.
  • Maintain daily knowledge of hotel, facilities and events.
  • Participate and monitor the new hire training process.
  • Ensure hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a clean, safe and secure environment.


Qualifications

  • Previous Housekeeping experience is preferred, with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Able to work with management on special projects.
  • Must work with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous floor care experience strongly preferred, especially in a hotel environment.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight for an entire shift.
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion.
