Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Lead with our client located in Plano, TX. This is a Contract to Hire position. Description: The QA Automation Lead will be a true hit-the-ground-running individual comfortable with complex environments. This role requires a strong QA professional with proven experience in writing and executing test scripts, leading a small QA team and shaping testing strategy across web, mobile, and API automation. You will be responsible for ensuring the product meets the highest standards of quality before release. Responsibilities: Lead the quality assurance efforts for the new product launch by writing, executing, and managing automated test scripts. Oversee and mentor a QA team, providing leadership in transforming QA processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate closely with development, product management, and operations teams to define and execute test plans. Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, stability, and performance of the product. Identify and communicate defects and ensure resolutions are implemented before the product release. Play a key role in implementing QA best practices, processes, and strategies. Participate in the interview process to discuss experience with QA transformation, offering insights into past projects. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on automation. Experience managing QA teams and leading QA strategy transformation. Strong proficiency in Selenium with C# for web automation. Proficient in Appium with Java for mobile automation. Hands-on experience with RESTSHARP and C# for API automation. Knowledge of performance and load testing is a plus. A proven track record of delivering high-quality software through automated testing. Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Technical Expertise in the following: Web Automation: Technology: Selenium Language: C# Purpose: Automating functional tests for web applications such as Customer and Supervisor Portals. Mobile Automation: Technology: Appium Language: Java Purpose: Automating functional tests for mobile applications. API Automation: Technology: RESTSHARP Language: C# Purpose: Automating tests for backend APIs, verifying functionality. Compensation: W2 hourly rate range of $60 to $70. Rates can vary depending on your experience, years, and type of experience.
