100% ON-SITE Description: We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows 7 and be transitioning to Windows 10. They should be proficient in basic printer support and have experience using Excel for data entry. While experience with Cherwell as a ticketing system is a plus, training will be provided for the new version. Our client is renovating one of their facilities and needs additional staff for this uplift. They will be doing typical desktop support work day to day. Breakdown, move and set up current users will also need to stage for permanent and temporary end user use. Will need to be flexible for the first 3 months as the role will require off shifts depending on demand. Team size is 13 total plus 1 contractor. Work hours: This is a day shift position but occasional flex to help other shifts and potential moves over weekend or 3rd shift. Travel: Local Responsibilities: * Handle 5-8 tickets per day, ensuring a 1-hour response time. * Monitor the ticket queue and perform project work as assigned, including moves and refreshes. * Replace analogue phones and provide basic printer support (e.g., toner cartridge replacement). * Image computers, install Windows, and manage deployments. * Perform compliance checks for IT Asset Management Systems. * Reconcile data in the IT Asset Management Database, focusing on PC and cell phone data. Skills and Qualifications: * Experience with Windows 7 and transitioning to Windows 10. * Basic printer support knowledge. * Proficiency in Excel for data entry. * Familiarity with Cherwell or similar ticketing systems (training provided for new version). * A+ certification is required. * Strong organizational and time management skills.
