Incumbent is independently responsible for facilitating academic advancement processes of academic appointees for a segment of the campus' ladder-rank faculty. Incumbent reviews, analyzes and provides recommendations to the Committee on Academic Personnel (CAP) and the Vice Provost for Academic Personnel, the Executive Vice Chancellor/Provost and the Chancellor on the following: merit, promotion,appraisal, career review, deferrals, and requests for exceptions to academic personnel policy. Maintains employee records. Using independent judgment, incumbent advises department chairs, faculty, and academic personnel staff on academic personnel manual (APM) policy interpretation, as it relates to the portfolio. Incumbent acts as intermediary between the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor/Provost and assigned colleges and schools.
The full salary range for the Academic Personnel File Coordinator is $73,600 - $133,200 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $92,100 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. |
