Description The Operating Room Assistant (ORA) is responsible for transporting patients, cleaning ORs, maintaining a clean environment, moving equipment, delivery of specimens, second scrubbing PRN, and other duties as assigned. The ORA functions as a member of the Perioperative Nursing team who has specific knowledge, skills and training to work in an Operating Room Environment. Hours: 12P -8:30P Mon to Fri with occasional weekends and holidays *This position may be required to work various shifts in all 7 Post Anesthesia Care Units (PACU).* Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent required. * Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and procedures CPR Certification is a plus. but not required EEO Statement Massachusetts General Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
