We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in designing, developing, and optimizing centrifugal pump systems for commercial and defense applications. This position is responsible for managing project timelines, ensuring technical accuracy, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration to meet production goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from conception through completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to deliver high-quality pump solutions.
- Technical Excellence: Guide engineering teams in pump design, testing, and troubleshooting, ensuring products meet rigorous industry standards, including ISO 9001-2015 and defense sector requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to streamline processes, resolve technical challenges, and optimize efficiency.
- Customer Support: Collaborate with sales and service departments to address client needs, ensuring that products align with customer requirements and performance expectations.
- Innovation and Compliance: Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, championing innovation while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience,
- Proven expertise in pump design or fluid dynamics, preferably within the defense or heavy industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of maritime standards and experience with defense contracting are highly valued.
- Strong project management skills, including proficiency with project management software.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
Target salary: $85-100k
