Position Title: Material Handler
Wage: $17/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday, alternating Fridays 5am-1:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in South Beloit, IL. This is a contract to hire position. Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Will be trained and certified before being able to operate a sit-down forklift - Retrieve product using a material handling cart or forklift - Deliver parts to various workstations throughout the facility - Perform daily forklift inspection - Blueprint reading knowledge - Replace propane tanks weighing up to 45lbs - Load and unload product by hand into and out of material handling carts Material Handler Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - Previous manufacturing experience - Previous forklift experience (2-3 years) - Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basis throughout entire shift - Must be able to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift - Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
