Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Position Overview

We are expanding our Financial Management Service Line to support exciting opportunities at Pantheon Data. This manager-level role offers the chance to lead transformative projects, including enhancing military pay systems, applying your technical expertise and federal financial management knowledge, and driving impactful business process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional technology and data teams.

Responsibilities



  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with developers, data teams, and clients to design and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges in military pay systems.
  • Guide clients in evaluating project requirements, risks, and objectives, ensuring compliance with FISCAM and federal regulations, including OMB A-123, A-136, SFIS, Treasury USSGL Transactions and Definitions, GAO SFFAS, DoD FIAR Instruction, and DoD FMR.
  • Oversee and participate in various stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to address existing issues and develop optimal future-state business processes.
  • Identify and drive business process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance system functionality.
  • Deliver actionable insights and solutions that improve the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of military pay systems.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.


Required Skills and Experience



  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and improve complex business processes.
  • Proven ability to work with and guide cross-functional teams, including developers, data analysts, and clients, to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Expertise in business process improvement, root cause analysis, and designing future-state processes.
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new data analytics tools and methodologies.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance, if required.


Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Demonstrated experience with military pay or financial management systems.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles, system architecture, and solution design.
  • Familiarity with federal financial management and compliance standards.
  • CPA, CGFM or PMP preferred.

Bachelor's Degree

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location

Hybrid or Remote - Arlington, VA

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
