Clinical Research Coordinator ObGn-Bixby-ZSFG-ANSIRH Part Time 82349BR Job Summary The Research Coordinator will perform independently or with general direction to support the development, data collection, and operations across multiple ongoing research projects, including a new NIH-funded study under the guidelines of established research protocols, UCSF, and regulating agency policies, as directed by the Principal Investigator (PI) and/or Project Director. Duties may include, but will not be limited to, supporting the development and coordination of survey tools; management and coordinating the tasks of the research study, including recruitment, informed consent, reviewing eligibility, screening and scheduling potential participants, managing survey tools and databases, coordinating with participating clinic sites and other study vendors. The Research Coordinator will also provide logistical support for research project and support with dissemination preparation (e.g., presentations and graphics). Other overall duties may also include support in protocol management in UCSF's IRB online system (iRIS), as well as renewals and modifications of the study; help assure compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies; support ensuring study data integrity; implement and maintain periodic quality control procedures; interface with departments to obtain UCSF approval prior to study initiation; maintain regulatory documents;; participate in any internal and external audits or reviews of study protocols; and perform other duties as assigned. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $34.32 - $55.19 (Hourly Rate).
