The Opportunity:

As an Analytic Methodologist, you support the intelligence community and provide national leaders the information they need to keep our country safe. As an Analytic Methodologist at Booz Allen, you'll develop your problem-solving skills to secure national assets through research and analysis of sensitive information. We're looking for someone like you to help our clients obtain information superiority and advance our national security mission.

This is your opportunity to expand upon your expertise in geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) and have a global impact. As an Analytic Methodologist on our team, you'll support our national intelligence clients by developing advanced methodologies for intelligence analysis, working with a variety of geospatial data in new ways, and providing support to intelligence experts across the community. Working with a team of highly technical GEOINT Analysts and Data Professionals, you will help develop new intelligence techniques and deploy cutting-edge technology. From project discovery to influencing mission stakeholders, you'll help resolve complex problems that have an end-to-end impact on our nation.

As an Analytic Methodologist in this mission, you will:

  • Use analytic tools to develop models, visualize data, and perform a range of analyses, including systems analysis and comparative analysis.

  • Document and visualize data both temporally and spatially to assist in data integrity checks, ask the next question, and display analytical assessments.

  • Apply emerging and innovative analysis techniques to answer key intelligence questions. Provide technical consultation into the development, evaluation, use, and deployment of solutions to optimize GEOINT analysis and production.

You Have:

  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative techniques to solve complex problems, including with analytic tools and techniques, such as GIS, data visualization, modeling, systems analysis, comparative analysis, and database development

  • Experience in data mining, cleansing, and exploring spatial, temporal, and non-spatial data in both structured and unstructured formats

  • Experience with MS Office suite

  • Knowledge of programming languages, including Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Pig or R

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Earth Science, Quantitative Social Sciences, Geographic Information Science, Computer Science, or Physics

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience using ArcGIS or other Esri products

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
