The Fenghua Hu lab (https://hu.wicmb.cornell.edu/) is recruiting postdoctoral scholars.

NIH-funded postdoctoral positions are available in Dr. Fenghua Hu's laboratory at Cornell University to study molecular and cellular mechanisms of neurodegeneration, particularly amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) and Alzheimer's disease (AD). Candidates with prior experiences in molecular and cell biology, biochemistry or neuroscience are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates should have a recent Ph.D. in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or neuroscience. The Weill Institute (https://wicmb.cornell.edu/) is an interdisciplinary hub of life science research at Cornell. Our faculty perform cutting edge cell biological research, from basic molecular mechanisms to human diseases. We bring together faculty, students, and postdocs from various departments and graduate fields, representing research areas that might not otherwise engage in crosstalk.

Pay Range:

$61,008.00 - $87,000.00

Pay Ranges:

The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:

  • Prior relevant work or industry experience.
  • Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.
  • Academic Discipline
  • Unique applicable skills.
