Duties
1. Workchain Ordering Analyze all parts below safety stock levels for re-ordering Review safety stocks. Adjust based on usage and lead times Review Lead Times Add backorders and order demand parts to Workchain Review all parts on Workchain for possible transfer from other plants Coordinate transfers if applicable Requisition parts that cannot be transferred 2. Part Spec Approval Review new part specs for the following criteria: Estimated Lead Time Safety Stock quantity Assign new General store part number Assign buyer code if known approve Part Spec. 3. Workchain for rejected order requisitions and part quotes Review notes from buyers on rejected reqs and provide required information or perform required actions as requested by buyer Review notes from buyers on rejected quotes and provide requited information or perform required actions requested by buyer. 4. Inventory Control Audit Daily CPARS transactions for completion and accuracy Insure Cycle counts are being performed daily Review Cycle counts for accuracy and investigate and resolve out of tolerance counts. 5. Supervise Ford hourly employees Insure employees observe and practice safe work procedures. Perform daily safety walk Schedule training Enter "TWOS" information daily in DROTS Define and direct employees daily work activities to support maintenance and production 6. Expedite critical parts deliveries Push critical orders through the purchasing process Coordinate delivery of critical parts with suppliers Coordinate incoming and outgoing plant to plant transfers Generate shippers and shipping labels 7. Pack and ship parts for the departments 8. Resolve supplier problems Adjust order quantities base on minimum order requirements Fix part descriptions/part number discrepancies, cancel, delete, resource obsolete parts Return parts that were shipped in error. Update open order due dates provided by suppliers | |
